This route is a hoot.

Now that the threat of snow doesn't dampen your every outdoor excursion, put Saturday, April 16th on your calendar.  Owlexander's Hoot Route is an interactive literacy trail created by the library and the Centerville Washington Parks District and funded by the Yeck Family Foundation.  Read Owlexander's story as you enjoy an outdoor hike in Grant Park, exciting games, and literacy activities.

This trail is a great way to involve active children in a reading experience that will hold their attention while helping to improve their narrative and vocabulary skills.

Check out the awesome costumed character planning to visit the library tomorrow!
