That One With the Big Frog Eye

This is probably how you and your little ones will remember this unique "I Spy" book.

A die-cut hole in the middle of the cover (and on each subsequent two-page spread) gives children an opportunity to use color, artwork, and text to guess what animal is hiding on the next page.  For example a deep blue color shows through the hole on the first page while the text hints: "I am the biggest animal in the whole world." (Did you guess blue whale?)

This is a delightful example of how a book's purpose (teaching a concept like color or an early literacy skill like vocabulary) is blended seamlessly with the text and artwork.  Children won't be able to resist peeking through the hole on each page!
