Bubble Wrap

Peter McCarty's newest picture book, Chloe, is an ode the satisfaction of pop.pop.poping bubble wrap.    Chloe is the middle child in a bunny family with ten older AND ten younger brothers and sisters.  When Dad brings home a new TV, they ultimately discover that it isn't anywhere near as enjoyable as watching all 21 rabbit siblings pretend to be "on TV" in a cardboard box and definitely not as much fun as simultaneous bubble wrap popping.
After all his little bunnies are in bed, Dad also finds that you are never too old for a little bubble wrap therapy.  This is a gorgeous choice about the importance of family time and the power of pretending.
