Judge a Book by Its Cover

Well, okay, don't judge it, but DO talk about it.  Is the book big or small? What does the cover look like? Try to predict what the story will be about. This helps a child’s overall awareness of print and familiarity with books. Plus it brings out their creativity!

Miss Jenna: “Do cows really lay eggs?”
Preschoolers: “NO!”
Miss Jenna: “Who does?”
Preschoolers: “CHICKENS!”
