The Bump

This summer, it seems like everywhere I turn, I am greeted with glowing, growing bumps .  Maybe I'm more aware of them because this time last year, I was sporting one myself.  Mij Kelly's The Bump is "The story of your mom's love for you" when, to everyone else, you just looked like a big belly.  This picture book is a little bit silly, but sweet enough to make you nostalgic for the time when your little ones were just a bump. 

Kids love hearing stories about themselves, especially from the people who love them most!  Picture books sometimes spark great ideas for family traditions - use this one to talk to your little one about the day he/she was born, or to prepare for a new sibling addition.
